Good Central FL paint shop ??
Im looking for a reputable paint and body shop to repaint my DA stock frost white and take out a couple dents and a rust spot. Can anyone reccomend a good shop? Im looking for good work, not neccesarily the best price. Most of the paint is in good shape, but I want to get the rust spot fixed(on the rear quarter panel) so I figure I should get the whole thing painted at the same time.
a good friend of mine does good work, were located in clearwater/st pete fl, thats about 1.5 hrs away from you...he fixed my entire car and resprayed it all..

he also just painted a friends black eg hatch and it looks beautiful, ive got pics of that, if your interested ill post up pics of it later

I also know a guy in St. Pete/Clearwater that does all of the Tampa Bay Bucs cars and work for Blvd. Customs which is the biggest custom shop in Tampa Bay area.
He does awesome work/restoration and his prices are very cheap if you want.

Im just worried that if I go through a friend of a friend or a "hook up" that I wont have any kind of recourse in the event that I am not satisfied with the work. I think we have all heard plenty of horror stories of people getting work done for a great price and then end up getting screwed.
The guy who works for the shop that does the bucs cars? Does he have any pics of work he has done? Any other refrences on this board?
When I get my car repainted I really want to get a quality factory-like job thats done right the first time around.
Thanks

My shop, Wrecks-n-F/X, is not owned by a friend of mine nor do any of my friends work there. I have gotten to know them because I have taken my car as well as about a dozen other cars there so I have gotten to know them and the work they do.
I know they take pictures of all the work they do, including Ferraris, Lambos, H2s, Bentleys, MBs, and BMWs but I don't know if I can get any to show you. However, here's a previous thread from the guy who took me to the shop in the first place. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=807938
I am actually going today to check on my car, I'll have to see if I can get any pics for you.

That accord done by the shop in St. Pete looks really nice. </TD></TR></TABLE>
Yeah, like stated in that thread there is a red and orange flake mixed in the clear that makes the paint sort of change colors up close, it's pretty cool.
My car is in there now getting painted and he is mixing orange flake in the black, then putting a clear coat w/ orange flake in it so that it really stands out. I can't wait to get it.
