all those things are very crappy and they will be accurate at all. my friend bought one and let see his 1/4 mile said he was doing a 14.9 like 5 times, he took it to the track and did 14.2,14.1,14.2... so there pretty inaccurate. \

The measure time differently from the track. Tracks use timing lights and averaging. They can be good tools for tuning. Most people get within .5 seconds of the track time. Excessive wheel spin and other user issues can throw that off.
If your friend is gains tenths of a second on the beltronics device he will probably do the same at the track. Dynos are not accurate either
