whats up guys - im thinking about biulding a new head and i was wondering if there is a diff btwn obd1 and obd2 heads - also is it practical to diy pnp? - it seems like a bad idea to me but my friend swears its easy - if i took the head to a shop how much would a pnp cost? tia guys - hope everyone is enjoying their weekend -

 

no difference between 94+ gsr obd1 and obd2 heads.
i would suggest a real pnp for good results but if you want to diy then best bet would be a bowl port and polish which only focus on the outer area and wont really mess with the valve area.

 

if u r strapped for cash so bad that u cant afford a proper pnp. then you probably cant afford gas for the car anyway. so i would say a profesional pnp is the way to go.

 

lol - as much as pnp is a cash issue, that wasnt the reason i asked - i just wanted a second opinion - thx guys
