Posting this here because I know allot of you (including myself) don't read General.
I had to leave early because the guy I went with got called back out to his job site. The last two years were by far allot better than this year. It seemed like open sessions and the 15 bracket lasted the whole time I was there. Then it rained for a whole five minutes but enough where it was going to be a while before any more racing. A little after it started raining is when I had to leave
Pictures 31 - 33 have a possible work warning so if you are at work maybe wait until you get home.

I got to see some of round three Turbo 4 and Turbo 6 but I didn't get to see much. When my new hardware comes next week I will get video up.
once again i must say NDRA events are always a blast to go to - the turnout was a little less than expected but i can credit some of that to this only being a street class drag race - the pro cars always help out with the attendance.
our weekend was a very rocky - we battled axle issues for the first 3 passes not even getting the car down the track - finally we think we found the culprit and on the 4th pass got it to go straight (well kind of straight, torque steer sucks) down the track - we basically just spun every gear on this pass, like a 14.0 @ 100 - but we got it down the track - all happy faces in our pits finally at about 8 pm saturday night
we made another pass after that one 45 minutes later backing the boost waaaayyy down to see if we could get it to hook a bit better - it did help out getting us to a 12.4 @ 126 and that included massive tire spin still and a misshift - we left to go eat happy campers and confident for 3rd round qualifying sunday morning
since we had the axle issues we missed the two rounds of qualifying on saturday so weren't even in the show yet - sunday morning we lined up still at low boost and went 11.5 @ 134 to take the #1 spot - first mission accomplished
after some drizzling of rain and a bit of a delay we got to 1st round eliminations, a decent pass with a misshift to a 11.8 @ 132 for the win
semi-finals - our car and the competitor were staged (both bulbs lit) and for some reason still unknown to us we got redlit on the pass - we protested what happend - we didn't feel that the car moved at all, we had video and datalogging evidence but things just didn't go our way - that is racing i guess - mike and glenn from NDRA handled the situation very well after they had listened to what we had to say, the bradenton motorsports track officials on the other hand i can say i am extremely disappointed with.
the finals pitted the prelude turbo vs the #2 qualifier, a mr2 - both cars had problems down the whole track it seemed and the prelude won with a 13.8 or something around there
needless to say we were quite disappointed at the results - we had a really good chance to taking home the win but things just didn't go our way - at least we got out there and got some much needed passes on the car - john ferguson, the driver seems to have his hands full with this thing getting it down the track - too much power and not enough traction isn't a good thing for et's - the mph on low boost we are extremely happy with - time for some more testing and after that some more testing and we will get it all figured out - see you all in 3 weeks in Cordova, IL

The track has seen more than 600+ cars there b4....i dont think its a track issue or maybe
But John has been out for a while and the car is still pretty new....more testing and practice and that car will be something to be reckon with....ive seen the power and potential with my own eyes...Nonetheless to say the guys @ Titan have busted there *** on it countless nites and non stop effort from everyone @ Titan...
Titan is a true race team.....Its only a matter of time that the Civic will be on top

ummm, hard to say - i don't think the track prep was nearly as good as it could have been - being as how the pro cars weren't in attendance to mandate a close to perfect condition - i also heard a couple of others mentioning the same thing - mainly the guys in the small wheelbase rotaries running the outlaw class, but then again we didn't quite know what to expect seeing as how we have never run a high horsepower FWD car - the first pass that we actually got down the track at full boost probably wasn't a good idea to push it that far to begin with - john said that he would just barely lay into the throttle and the tach would just shoot straight to redline - the motec datalogging showed the car at 9200 on the revlimiter basically the whole pass - once we turned the boost down we still had issues with tire spin - at this point in time i think our main focus is to run it strictly on low boost until we get the launch, shift points, and traction issues taken care of - only time and testing will tell

max this race was so wack that they dont even want to post who won if the turbo class was barely able to run 11.s i dont see all motor running any better.im sorry to say that this race was a joke. why have an event when there is a bigger event around. i dont understand.
You guys have to understand this was the first try at a street only event. And of course they went up against the NHRA event too. I heard that both events had poor attendance. ANyone back this up?

i think a 12.5 all motor coupe won comp4 - since this was just a street car race i don't think a lot of people wanted to travel to come down here - hot import nights was in orlando this same weekend only about 2 hours from bradenton so i know a lot of the crowd got split between the two
