im having problems with a swap i did for a friend.the swap i did was a jdm h22a (auto)into the 92 accord exr (auto)it also came with the p13 auto ecu..the swap went well and the car runs great but it has one problem ,when im driving normal the car seems like it does'nt want to shift unless i step on it to about 5000 rpm then it will shift,then when i let off the gas to come down to a rolling speed it sound like im downshifting to like 1st gear.(it almost sounds like a standard downshift).now im thinking the tcu has something to do with this,im using the 92 accord tcu does any one know where i can get a jdm h22a (auto)tcu?if someone has one they could sell me that would be greatemail me if you have one...dannydunning@msn.com

 

I thought the ecu controlled the trans. i was unaware of a tcu

 

ive never heard if a TCU either, unless youre talking about texas christian university, but i dont think you are.

 

the tcu is located right beside the ecu.tyhey are mounted on the ecu shield,on an accord anyway.
