What does everyone feel about the seating and steering wheel possition? I used to think it was very good, but after driving my girlfriends Jetta, which was so much more confortable, I concluded that even at the lowest tilt, the steering wheel is still pointed too high up, and the seat is too low. It took me a few days to get used to my car again. I like how the Jetta seat moved up and down, and the seating possition was just so much better. What are everyone elses thoughts?

The seat is indeed low. I look up at Civics and Jettas and Camrys tower over me. I like the low seating position. It isn't sporty though. There've been a few complaints about the seating. I think Car and Driver complained that the steering wheel was too close to the driver. It's comfortable for me for long hauls, and although it could use more side bolstering it still holds me tight enough on the track that i can concentrate on driving and not trying to keep my body in the seat. I wouldn't call the overall seating position great, but i've driven a lot of cars and can't think of a single one having a seating position any better than the Accorn.

i dont like the seating position. i think its a little too high actually. and the seats are ridiculously uncomfortable. i work out a lot and my back is usually sore, and the seats make it sh_tty to drive further than half an hour. i just got a set of 95 lude seats im putting in next week, and i got that short problem fixed and the NOS runnin. thanks for the ideas and suggestions 4doorh22. hehe. now my those 5.0 mustangs will have to deal with a 4 door dx accord.
