loud noise when backing up
I have a 2000 Accord V6, and sometimes when I back up I hear a really loud noice, almost like a crunch...It almost sounds like the transmission isn't all the way in reverse. I'm probably just going to take it to Honda to get inspected, but can anyone tell me what it could be?
a loud clunk..
I bet you have an auto. I think all honda's do that when you are going into reverse on a slope. to help when you park..put the e brake on before you let off the brake as you park and it will releave pressure from the tranny

yes, it sounds like it's coming from the front...I think it might be the front driver side brake, although i'd have to check again to be sure...any ideas on what it could be?

e-brake is your friend....when your pulling in put car in drive keep foot on brake pedal and pull your ebrake then release your foot from the brake pedal.

try this and let us know if it helps or not

yea try that... and if you are on a straight path and still hear it, it was a sign for me when my tranny was giving away...

accords are heavy... they are like fat people... if you keep em on a hill too long they will get tired and when you want them to move, they will grunt and whine at you.
