The name of the color is actually Olive Drab Green, and OD green does have several different shades.

I think its ugly in my opinion. Put a gloss over it, and take it out to somewhere lke where Jurassic Park : The lost world was, then maybe id like it a bit better. DAmn i saw and got into the big camo motorhome thing that was in the movie. Its located in Oakland, in this closed parking lot behind this old truck museum. Cool eh, i took pictures .

Here are a few more pics. I'm not putting any body kit on it, just don't have any moldings, although I'd really like some. This is my daily driver, and auto cross car. Next year it will be in Honda Challenge H1.

The paint was temporary because I sourced body parts from different cars and they were a million different colors...so I rattled it green. I do plan on getting it painted this color soon. Thanks for the words.

I ran out on the front, so it's a little spotty...but when I'm not too lazy I will touch it up.

It used to be primarily Tahitian Green.

This is what kind I used...I didn't prime the car, just sanded it with 320 and sprayed. I figured the paint would act like a primer anyway.

I'll take any real paint job over a primer job. If it's just temporary then thats another story.. But I wouldn't primer my whole car unless its undergoing a real paint job soon.

Maybe I might be able to buy up the local stock and mail it to you. Each of the chain stores stocks about 2 to 3 cans, but there are like 6 stores locally. PM me for details if interested.

No it's for ever. This cars only purpose is to perform, to me the color just looks like it means business, like I'm going to war when i'm racing.

Actually tonight I am in the middle of gutting the rest of it, door internals, remainding heat, and all other unnecessary wiring.

that is hot!

again back to the "olive drab green" does it stay flat or does it get a clear coat while remaining flat? i definitley think im going to paint my car this color. will the car rust being painted this color?<- honestly wondering. i know if its rattle can yes, but if its done by a professional, can it actually be painted this color and not rust?? hm?

i have NO clue when it comes to painting cars.

I had to primer my CRX. the car was black and I have maroon doors (jdm).I rather spend $11 on a few cans of primer, instead of getting a $800+ paint job. I can use that money on the motor.Plus looks ain't a big deal to me. Most of my cars look pretty simple. To everyone there own

I'm not sure about the strength of the paint compared to a real paint job. I already spoke to my paint guy about spraying it professionally this color.

An interesting fact about this paint is that water drys sooo fast on it. Last night it rained and my buddy and I pulled the cars int the shop, with in minutes I was dry as his car was wet for a while.
