Default #120's Dyno.....

Well after about 2 years now of many persons on this forum and myself wondering how much WHP my 98 Itr would lay down, I have dyno'ed the R.

98 Itr with 75k, stock motor. Mods are:

-Comptech Icebox/K&N E2427/stock Upper Elbow
-OEM JDM 4-1
-SMSP 12" Test Pipe
-Buddy Club Spec 3
-Timing @ 17deg.

This setup along with Drag Radials netted consistent 13.7's@100mph at the drag strip and a Very Strong motor on the Road Course. I dynoed the car at http://www.hpworks.com. The owner says there Dyno is calibrated on the lower side also, as many will agree. It was 82deg F out side with 68% humidity.

Yeah and when my Gs-R rolls both of you it'll be hell on earth

Awesome numbers. You keep a good car Did you run any other "tweaks" ?

Off the top of my head I can think of:

-New cap/rotor
-Make sure timing belt is tight
-Injectors clean (flow well)
-Tire pressures
-Change oil
-Remove PS/AC (belts)

The PS alone will put you in the 190's

Your peak power holds well...very impressive for a non-tuned stock ITR motor. Numbers are strong. Get a hold of a hondata or uberdata and you'll easily break 190 without a doubt.

Thanks. I am goin to leave things alone until something happens to my motor. I am goin to just learn to be faster and better on track now.

The peak doesn't surprise me, but I thought you'd have a little more of a VTEC spike.
