Just bought powerslots for all four andd ebc green pads for all four as well.... When installing these, I have been told various things by various people and dont know what to make of it.. Do i need to have these otors turned before install or not? can they even be turned??? i have been told they can only be ground due to the slots... i do want to avoide high speed judder but dont know who to take them to for cutting. DO THEY EVEN NEED TO BE CUT??? has anyone ever done this without cutting and if so were your rotors true at low and high speeds?
You need to let the rotors season for about two weeks, then go back and pop in the pads (bed them).
Any reason why you bought those two brands?

budget, i got everything for all four wheels for 330. I cant bed the rotors with the pads, my rears are metal on metal and the fronts are close...
I'm saying install the rotors and let them season for two weeks, then install the pads and bed them in.
if you need to install everything now then do so...it won't "hurt."
If the powerslots require a special procedure for seasoning then the directions should say so (or call them). I would've just bought blanks from CobaltFriction

I am being told that storeing rotors the wrong way can warp them, and for a proper install they must be turned a tiny bit at the time of install. that is where the other guy is getting his judder. MY big deal is, with slotted rotors, the cutting blade will "bounce" off in the cutting process, so they need to be trued somehow... so, HOW THE HELL DO WE TRUE THEM IF WE CANT CUT THEM????
They come as blanks from Brembo and then are cut in by Powerslot. They should then be checked by Powerslot before being shipped off.
Unless the directions say otherwise I'd just install them or eBay them and grab some blanks.
Maybe someone else has called Powerslot and has some better advice.
