how to wire ecu for lsvtec crx?
i got a problem, i just started a new project for my crx. i got a 94 ls block with a 95 gsr head. im planning to swap into a 90' crx hf for my drag ride. what im wondering is that what ecu should i run for my car? ive read a pr3 is good, but ive also been told to convert into obd1 and also heard that hondata will work. well, i am very confused to which one will work best for my dragster. ive done plenty of swaps into EGs, so i know the basics of swapping motors. but im new to the EF and would like some insight on my new project. thanks
you can go either way, obd0 or obd1, but generally obd1 has more options.
Personally, I'd go obd1., but I have a friend running an ls-vtec with a custom chipped pr3 obd0 and it runs great day in and day out.
I'm sure others can help point you in the right direction

do this! Changing to obd1.. some1 on here has a obd0 to obd1 conversion harness, might want to look into that!

no, you just need a conversion harness. You plug your harness (the one that usually goes into the ECU) into the harness, and then plug the other end of the conversion harness into your new obd1 ecu. Wire up a couple extra wires for vtec, some sensors, and the new obd1 distributor.
You can even run obd0 fuel injectors if you use the resistor box. Or, you can run the obd1 injectors and eliminate the resistor box.
Blown90Hatch (I believe that's his H-T name) has all the details and has given support to all kinds of people. I havent specifically dealt with him, but I have seen him go way out of his way to help people with their obd-conversions.
Hope that helps.
