Default problem with my Hasport cable to hydro conversion

I ordered the Hasport EFB2 kit to put a hydro tranny in my EF. Motor and tranny are installed.

Here is the problem that I am having with adjusting the clutch cable....i have to tighten it a lot to get the clutch pedal to the point where I can put the tranny into the different gears, but at that point when I let out the clutch it never fully disengages (i know this because the clutch is slipping at 1/2 throttle). The clutch is brand new, so I know it is not the clutch.

Is my cable stretched? Has anyone had any similar problems?

I think you can either get a 90 - 93 integra cable or a 88-91 crx cable for replacement at the honda dealer. I would get a 90 -93 cable.

cable is too short. 90-93 required.

We just did an H22 in a 90 hatch and made our own cable to hydro conversion. Screw paying for that ****. You have to buy the mount..............screw that! We make our own ****! And it works!!!!!

So what? Was that the question he asked?

It sounds like the cable is bad. I would use the 90-93 cable.

Yeah, I got the 90-91 Teg clutch cable from Acura and now my car shifts smoothly and the pedal isn't as hard.

switched to a 90-93 integra clutch cable and the tranny is operating normal.

pedal feel is extremely stiff due to the conversion.

If I tighten the cable a lot, the clutch starts slipping in 5th gear. I wonder if my clutch is bad. It looked decent when I threw it in there.

The whole kit would be necessary if you have a place racing kit because the hydro tranny mount is different(you could fab up something though). If place racing came out with a mount for the hydro tranny, they it would work. But... If they bothered to make a mount for the hydro tranny they might as well make a cable to hydro conversion too. anyone else having problems with their clutch pedal being rediculously stiff?

my left leg is getting tired. I am considering putting in some EG hydro lines so that the tranny operates like normal.

I did at first. Then my cable took a dump. I got a brand new one from Honda and the pedal feels much lighter now!

Ya, mine is stiff, but I had the same cable, and clutch before, and it was just about as stiff. Ryan
