Default fiberglass front end ok for friday night style drags(non points)

i need fairly extensive front end repair, and i am seriously considering getting a fiberglass front end but i still want to be able to go to the friday night drag races and make a few passes, not for points or anything like that just for fun. my question is will they let me run with the rest of the street cars if i am running the one piece with lights and markers? please don't say search cause they are talking about points and classed races, im just talking about for fun races. oh and i believe the tracks near me go by NHRA rules. thanks for the help

ps anyone got a used one piece for sale for a eg6?

The only real answer you're going to get is to call your local track. No one here is going to know what their specific rules are.

if its not for points who cares. hell even if it was its not a pro class so they do not define what can or cannot be on the car. i go to local events and i can run in whatever category i want as long as i can make the times. most tracks dont dictate what is on the car just as long as the safety equipment is there.

im not saying this will happen at your track, but in boise they have friday night street legal drags.. im pretty sure they wouldnt allow it there.. but if its pretty much a test/tune they would for sure.. as long as your car passes tech they shouldnt care.

cool, i will call my local track sometime. also i will have headlights(sorta) installed in the front end so that might change things too. where i go to school my friend is a tech inspector so i don't think its going to be a problem there, but here it might be a different story.

You'll have no problems running a 1 piece front end at the test and tunes. Just be careful on the streets. 1 piece front ends aren't as durable as most make them out to be.

i work at a race track here where one of the employees jobs is to work on fiberglass front ends all day so he can help repair it as much as i want. but definently something to take into consideration.
