VAF-C questions??? need help

Default VAF-C questions??? need help

Just recently bought a vafc and it was actually used from civic SI...my question is..if i install this right now...do i need to do the initial set up according to the manual...and if i do the initial setting...what will be the setting on my car....my concern is...i will get them tune later on so i want to be on the safe side for few weeks til i take them tune...thanks for the feedback in advance

After you install it initialize the settings and set them according to the manual.

That's the safest way to go

It only takes a few seconds to do so you might as well.

just leave it at default settings until you tune, because that will do no change to your car.

Go to "car select" or whatever it's called, then press the gas to the floor for 10 seconds. (with your car off obviously )

If you already did this and you still are having problems, re-check your wiring.

ah thanks, i may have been in the wrong mode menu thingy when i did that whole 10 second thing.

Suggestion, best way is to follow the manual, if you don't have it download from the apexi site until you get it tune, I'm also in the same boat.
