Installing VAFC2: TDC Signal, Which One If Any?
So the install manual says to tap the light blue wire into the TDC signal, but the diagram in the manual doesn't show which pin to use and the ECU pinout says there is a TDC - P and a TDC - M. Which one do I use, or do I not use either?
Searching the archives showed me two instances where people said not to use the TDC wire but didn't explain why, so I want to get a definitive answer to this question before I start cutting...
Rechipped P28 ECU, and I doubt it matters but it's a 97 jdm itr engine.
EDIT: Ok, I figured it out. VTC and TDC are only for i-VTEC engines, or according to apex'i vtec version 3...
At least now it'll be in the archives so other people can learn...

I am not doing them yet. I'm going through, writing up a complete diagram and putting pieces of tape on the wires so I know which go where. Then I'm getting my buddy who has his degree in electrical engineering to watch over my shoulder when I install it...
Done, in 1.5 hours with no help. Took my sweet-*** time to do it, and it works perfectly. Already mounted it above the rear view mirror, took out the plug that covers a hex nut I assume is for removing the sunroof and cut it so the base could fit around it. It holds solid, can pivot no problem, and with the wire run down the pillar it's pretty stealth...
I really wish I didn't just get new tints today so I could go play around without getting high off of fumes...
God it feels good to do it right the first time. Now to figure out why my fog lights don't have any power past the firewall...
