Default biggest you can go with gsr block

i was just curious ive heard its 2.0 but i was wondering if starting with a gsr block how much bigger you can make it

Stock Bore x Stroke on a B18C1 snf B28C5 is 81mm x 87.2mm. Unless you mean the 92-93 GSR (B17A1) which I dont think you did, but the Bore and Stroke on that is 81mm x 81.4mm.

But just from the forums and I've read that the most you will want to bore out the stock block is 82.5mm (I think). Past that then you will want to resleeve your block. But to get 2.0L with your B18C block you will definately have to get it re-sleeved and bored out to 85mm (1.979L) or 85.5mm (2.002L).

EDIT: I think once you start going past an 85.5mm bore, you start running into some issues. But I cant remember what though, something to do with the coolant passages I think.
