is this pricing good for custom exhuast?
75/hr. said it will take 2.5 hours to complete the job. for 2.5 inch piping, about 190 bucks assuming that i provide cat, resonator, and muffler. it is crush bent piping.
located in north cal.

The muffler shop should have all the parts, except for maybe the muffler of choice you are using. In past cars, I have always had the shop install a high flow cat, resonator and the piping for around $150...and they had it all in stock, I just provided the muffler.
How much welding is going to be done? They were willing to install a cat? What's the name of the shop? There was one I went to, Muffler Tech on Madison in Citrus Heights, who weren't willing to install my Carsound because i'm OBD2.
Personally I'd just have them weld flanges onto the cat, the b-pipe connecting to the cat, and the hangers. And just use band clamps for the rest like the b-pipe to resonator, b-pipe to axleback, and axleback to muffler. Easier to take apart if you need to take it off.

oyea.. i shouldve thought of that. thanks guys. if i go with the clamps, i just don't know where to find the correct length pipes... will they cut and just sell me the pipes as i need it? and modification to the pipes in order to use a clamp?
