i have a broken coolant hose on my b16. if you follow the lower radiator hose to were it conects to the engine it is the hose that is right beside/behind it and then it loop back into the block under the V-tec solenoid. what hose is this?
also my heater is not hooked up as far as the coolant lines that run to it. there is a tube that needs a coolant line attached to it. it is the one that has the thing on top that you control from the inside. sorry for the poor, moronic discriptions but im still learning.

from what you described, it is the heater hose. When i did my swap i drove for like 1 week then it busted. but anyways it would be easier to post a pic.
