I am building too much base pressure. I am burning oil, my car runs great, but it's is causing oil to blow out from under my valve cover. I checked the pcv valve, and everything seems to be flowing just fine. Help me fix my 91 std hatch w/d15. What else would cause this pressure to build up in my crank case?

 

I know im not being helpfull but, I have the same problem. Mind you, my car is running great. I was not aware that there is something i can do about it.

I just bought the valve cover gasket and plug-hole gasketimagiggies for the fact that my valve-cover gasket seems to be leaking or something.

if your rings arent holding compression then the compressed air will go into your crank case. this will cause u to burn oil and build up excess pressure at the same time.

 

so basically I'm screwed.....time for a DOCH ZC...thanks 91civiclx
