Well I think its about that time of the year to talk about whats going on in and around the sport of import drag races. I guess Ill give it a start with some of the juicy info Ive discovered.

1. Minh -modifyed performance's hotrod class car from kansas is near completition and should make some waves soon.

2. wheres shaun c. and the mopar pro fwd?

3. I know their are acouple missing from last season ie: Angela P.

4. Looks like team Norad is about a month or so out.

5. heard jojo is trying a h series motor in his teg while his sentra is being completed..(I like this move)

6. team bergenholtz? any news ron?

7. rage performance looking to make a huge showing in the hotrod class.

Angelas car was down at Franks last week with no motor in it getting some work done .Dont know the status right now though. but the front end was all fucked up and burned up and ****.


Rado's car is still a bit to get done. I just saw him last weekend , he looked a little frustrated with talking about it at the moment. Im sure he's dying to get it on the track . .

Jojo's chassy i hear is on the ground and rolling . He has some body parts at Franks that i guess are still in the works.

Next big race to watch is cardova, besides Atco this weekend, gives people a few weeks to really plug away on their cars and fix little things.

 

I heard some thangs pdang, I heard some thangs A little birdie told me Vinny will be mopping up the track with the MSP/Bullish car Also, I heard about a Pro RWD (is that what the division's called still?) racer that has been running a backup motor all year long (his only one) and still managed to go 7.30's Go figure

You are on the ball (I never said it was Craig BTW) as usual. I have nothing but respect for the Bullish guys and what they've put down the last few years, but I am a hardcore Paisley fan

 

i wanna see Craig tear some **** up this year. Craigs a cool down to earth guy

 

We are taking a small one race break to figure out one small problem. I figured our team needed to really step back and figure out this small problem and at the same time give me some time to work on Vince's all motor car the Mazda 3. It is coming out dope and Steen is doing a really good job. I work really well with Gary, Rich and Gary's son. Steen Chassis works thumbs up!!!!

Oh and one more thing, we are finally gonna fix that damn hole for the motor sticking out of the front end. We gonna repaint the whole thing in a new scheme I hope the fans will like, and inn addition take advantage of that 45 inch overhang rule. It should be fun.

hey ron i was at the e town event and noticed that on one of the mazda motors that were on display that the front cover on it looks like it was done by the same company as the gm's front covers... are you guys sharing any other parts and or techniques?? what is the advantage of running those front covers??

also what the heck is up with those heads... did anyone else catch that when looking at the big corporate displayed high HP motors... i.e. GM and the mazda motor.. .the material that the head was made of looked like it was made of foam... the type of foam that you find as protection for dvd players in their boxes... thats just wierd... i had never seen that kinda stuff..

also i heard that Ferrari was coming out with an all motor class car.. they took one of their formula one engines and cut it in half with a cutoff wheel... and they stuffed it in a small fiat... and they will be debuting the **** at ATCO it should be making around 500 horses all motor 5 cylinder 1.5 liter motor &lt;--------wouldnt that be cool?? haha

The motor that was on display next to our car was actually an ecotec motor and not a Mazda motor. As far as the motor that was in our car that had the problem Vince has a handle on it considering he is in charge of the motor program. We will see next week. I just know that the motor is making some power after what it did. The picture you saw Ron S. was pretty crazy and is fproof of how much power this motor is making. I think we should have a handle on it. The new paint job and front end should be pretty dope!!!! I think everyone willl like it for sure.

I though the old front end was killer.

i MAY be wrong, but i think that is from using a foam casting.. that is the finish it leaves behind..

The Supra motor should be going in next week with some changes to hopefully get it to go faster and give us more data. The new motor for the celica I dont know what you are talking about. HHAHAHHA
