Has anybody got Skunk2 cams in their Type R and how does the car feel in midrange & top end?

 

A friend of mine has the Junk2's they feel good especially when you dial them in, but spend the extra $150 for JUN's or Toda's IMO.

 

The Skunk2's are kewl! Low end is great, but there's a noticeable drop when VTEC is engaged. But the pull comes back after 7k rpms. I was told that I should increase the VTEC engagement point and to lean out my fuel. The Skunk2 gears are not tuned yet, nor have I installed my VAFC. I need to get off my lazy azz and do the install!

I'd say the price of $700 was kewl. I was considering on gettin the Toda Bs, but I wanted to make sure I'd pass smog. Please see my homepage for the dynosheet.

You floor it.......nothing happens till the x-over point.

 

mostly mid-range but that's it, stick with the itr cams and save your money......if you want cams get some real cams "JUN TYPE 3'S"
