Default 92-96 tranny and 97-xx tranny

I'm doing a swap in my car and ran into a problem. I got a placeracing kit and they used a 95 lude motor and tranny and i'm useing a 91 lude motor with a 97 tanny and it dont fit right in the car. The question is. Is their a difference in the trannys. As far as location of tranny mount or lenghts anything expect gear ratio.

Oh this is going into a 90 teg.

Don't think so...I thought the 97+ rear mount was different for automatic trannies but not the manuals...are you sure it's a 97 lude tranny...what's the tranny code?
