I've got S2K seats in my teg and they're way too low to the ground for the wife, she can't see over the steering wheel. So I'm going to get new seats(so i can stop hearing her whine about the seats) but I'd like opinions from people who have the seats. I basically want them to have a really high back, recline, be height adjustable and come in a subtle color (I can't have no red or blue seats). Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

 

why not just get some gs-r black leather ones.

 

Yeah, I have Sparco's in my car now and they are hella low. Go dor the GSR's, I miss mine.

To be honest I never liked my GSR seats, I didn't think they had enough padding. I drive like an hour each way to work, so i need some comfort. I'd definitely be down to trade for the right seats.

 

I never knew s2k seats sat so low. I need to trade in my gsr leathers for some of those then. My head is basically on the roof

What does it take for mounting them?

 

I brought them from a guy on the site who had them in his civic, so they bolted right in. Took a whole 10 min.

I can take some pics when I get home tonight and post them, as for selling them, i need to pick my new seats and buy them first. I'm located in San diego. Email me and as soon as I find seats I'll let you knoe. I love the seats, get tons of compliments and stares from other teg owners. but my wife won't drive the car and that messes up my designated driver, and so the seats must go. They look at least 3 times better than the GSR seats. but seriously guys start suggesting replacement seats.

 

sparco milanos if you don't mind the $$$price tag$$$. they have 'em in a real nice solid black leather. they look good in the tegs.

Some Jdm black Recaros would be perfect although there pretty pricey $$$. Somethign cheaper maybe an Itr seat, but there just reclothed gsr seats.

The jdm's are reclinable, comftorable, the look nice, the black are real sleek, the Red ones are for ricers like me There everything besides lightweight, but you said your going for comfort. They weigh more because they have extra supports.

I have the Jdm Red Recaros , I must say they are one of the most comftorable seats I have ever sat in. My girlfriend loves them, deintely one of the most worthwhile mods Ive done to my car.

They look too much like my S2ks, I'm kinda leaning towards something Aftermarket, except for like DC5 seats of course. thanks for the opinion though.

I love those seats, how hard was it to get them in there? Are they power?

 

not power, the prior owner put them in because some kid was getting rid of his to put aftermarket seats in. I don't see a lot of TL's around so I don't know where to get em. They are really adjustable and pretty comfortable. I might sell them to get recaros soon if I don't get rid of my car.
edit: I thought you said how hard is it to get them The prior owner put them in so I can't vouch for it. He told me that it was cake to install.

well the SRDs or the JDMs are my top choice because I can get the backseats to match, but i thought they were too wide and rubbed in teg.
