Shorting out prob. ???

Default Shorting out prob. ???

HELP...I have a 2000 civic Si, and i was driving the other day and my mph, and my miles quit working... then after drive to work my rpm's started to stop working, then my batt. died...i then found that the Alternator sp sensor fuse was blown, i replaced it and it blow it right away... took the alternator to be tested and it was bad. so i bought a brand new one. put it in and replaced the fuse. and it work for about 5 min. and then it started to do the same thing....i have checked all of the wires and they all look fine. but i am losed on what to do nexted......???

well if it is blowing the fuse it is obviusly shorting finding the short is somehting that you need to do by isolating the circuit and finding the point that it is grounding out at.

I don't know how many threads I've read about newer 99-00 Civics having wiring problems like this, I would do a search first and see what you come up withhttps://honda-tech.com/zerosearch
