Default 92-95 DX head onto 90 HF?

The HF is running on 3 cylinders, and someone gave me the head off a 92-95 DX. Will this be okay on the HF block?

I don't know if it'll help but...

Did you engine overheat, like blow a head gasket? Is that why its running on 3 cylinders? If so, how long did you run it? If not long, take the head to a machine shop and have them check it out and put the head back on. Its not like the DX head is going to help on performance (much at least). I would just keep the HF head since its not a very perfomance based engine to begine with.

you probably won't know until you take the head off, since the HF engine is an 8 - valve design it might not have the proper valve reliefs cut into the pistons
