Default ys1 into a hydraulic eg

Ok, i have started my lsvtec project. I have a b16a5 head, 99 ls block and the golden eagle oil kit. Now my question, i heard that ys1 gsr transmission are wonderful, is that true and if so would it be worth putting it into the 95 si w/o much mods because its cable. Im sure alot of you will tell me to get hydro and that would be best possibly. Just let me hear what you guys have to say.

The ys1 tranny is definately worth it. They are sometimes hard to find and 3rd gear went out on mine twice but, they make anything feel super strong and accelerate like mad. highway speeds will be reduced though. I give the YS1
