Stolen Teg' in the Bay Area
Well I was just reading the post about the guy in Chicago and I must steal a phrase from him....... I never thought this would happen to me. I wake up yesterday morning @ about 4 a.m. to my roomate asking me where my car is. I'm half asleep and I respond it's in the driveway. Roomate states to me "no it's not".
I don't think I've ever gone from half asleep to fully wide awake as fast as that. I then ask which one (both my CRX and my GSR are parked in the driveway). Roomate responds the red one (GSR), so immediately that is a relief (although monetarily the GSR is worth more, sentimentally the CRX is worth way more to me). But I have to run outside and see for myself. I run outside and sure enough there is an empty spot on my driveway where my car is usually parked. Then I ask myself, "brian, did you get way to fucked up last night and forget that you parked somewhere or got a ride home. I then recap the prior nights events, and come to the conclusion that after the Kings vs. Wolves game I went straight home. There is no glass on the ground, the car did have a very good alarm and as far as I know I didn't hear it go off. (but I sleep like a rock).
So I go inside pace around a little bit and try to gather my senses and call the police. I think to myself how could these a**holes have gotten me. As time passes the whole concept starts to sink in and the "violated" feeling gets worse. I guess it is better for both me and them that I didn't catch them, because then I would have came out of the house with 10 .40 cal. black talons with their name written all over it, which coulda turned into a even worse situation (I know I'll catch some flack about a car is not worth a life, but you don't know the feeling until it happens to you, and those theives should have asked themselves the same question before they decided to steal my ****).
So all of you bay area folks keep an eye out for parts for sale off of a Milano Red 94 GSR pretty much stock except for AEM intake and Greddy Exhaust. Let me know if you find out something and I'll offer a small reward for information that leads me to the person(s) who violated the security of my homestead. And if the folks that took it are on this forum then let's just say you better hope you get away cleanly or the cops catch you before I do. The rest of you, keep your car close and do whatever you can to prevent theives from taking your ride, because I found out the hard way just an alarm ain't gonna stop them, and I'm sure my insurance company is gonna be a tight wad and try to stick it to me again during claim settlement.

damn bro, sorry it had to happen to you too man. my **** was stolen march 22nd of this year
it seems more and more cars are being broken into these days. it's probably cause the cops don't care and let this **** happen so they won't have to deal with honda/import guys anymore. they're probably promoting this ****.
anyway, i hope you find out who it is man, i found my rims on another car and just got them back...i'm still looking for my intercooler, cf hood, and a bunch of turbo parts. good luck.

Still haven't found the car yet...I wonder how long it will take if at all..... I would expect to at least find a frame somewhere. As time goes by you remember things that were in the car when it was stolen, including my CD's alot of important paperwork my "Giants" gear, used when going to a game. A tool set, which I'm sure they used to help them strip the car and some other things..... Which makes me even more angry which is more reason why those theives with my car better hope and pray that I never find out who they are.
sorry for your loss.. damn i've been catching myself say that alot lately.. not a good sign at all..
im in the bay so i'll definatly keep an eye out.. especially a milano red gs-r <33 (my favorite) ..
sorry again

Well it was found yesterday afternoon, nearly two months to the date that it was stolen....those ******* are lucky they weren't caught and beat down..... anyways it was found in Richmond. Gonna go look at it today and see it's condition. I called the Richmond PD and they said that the report stated it was not damaged, which is surprising and kinda hard to believe for it being gone almost 2 months.
Now if by some miracle, the majority of things are in tact I may consider buying it back from the insurance company. Does anybody have an idea of what the insurance companies charge to repurchase a savlaged/total loss vehichle?

Well it was all bull*hit..... the car was stripped to the bone, motor, tranny, seats carpet, dash, plastic paneling, door panels the whole bit.
The damn Richmond PD didn't even bother to dust the car for prints, they found it in a residential area (they won't tell me where) so with flat tires no engine and tranny they obviously had to push the car from somewhere in the general vicinity. So that would at least give you a start of where to look.
I mean they couldn't have pushed it from 2 miles away without being noticed. But no my tax dollars aren't meant for that right? I know they can run a check to see what civics or integras are registered to addresses in that general area or maybe even cross reference the fingerprints to people that live in the general area that they have had run ins with before. But again, that would be too easy.
All I have to say is I know a few special charachteristics of some of my parts, and I'll be out there looking for them, so to the theif, if you're reading this and one day I run into you and notice my stuff, you better hope that...... well you remember what your fat *** mama said "make sure you always have clean underwear on."
