I just bought my 97 CX a month ago. I found this crashed ITR and I'm buying it tomorrow. What parts can I pillage from this car?

Motor Swizzap
5lug conversion
Seats
Gauge cluster
Steering wheel

What else can I use?

What parts that I can't use are worth selling? (Had front end smashed left fender gone)

I think it requires some modifications but a couple of people here have done it

 

don't forget the fuel pump
and all the wiring harness so the dash swap will go easier.

just about everything you can take off, TAKE IT.

 

id gank all the carpeting as well. uhm..then i'd sell fenders, bumpers, hood etc etc

Be warry of bent suspension parts from that side that was hit. Hondas wheel bearings dont take a hit very well and will most likely need replacement. The LCA's are very easy to bend in a colision as well. Just a tip from someone thats had to deal with bent suspension parts.

 

LCAs
Strut tower bars
Sway bars
The rear wing
Rear taillights
Take the whole dash

I really hope that you aren't a theif who wants to know what will sell off an ITR once you steal it.

strip your EK to the steel, and transfer everythign from the R over. complete drivetrain, and wiring, exhaust, all the braces, the seats, rug, and the 5 lug, part out everything else onteh classifieds

 

you can use the shifter (stick) too

the whole interior including the center console should work with minor mods,

your hatch will be the shizznit with all that itr stuff

You can sell the steering rack. Unfortunately it will not work on your 96-00 Civic. It will work on 94-01 Integras and 92-95 Civics.

Nah dude, I'm no thief. I'm in germany. I'm the one that should hope that the car isn't stolen.

 

With the wiring on the integra... should I just rip it out and put it in the ek? Or should I just add the vtec wire and use my existing harness?

 

I'm paying 8000 for the ITR. It's in euro though... So that come up to a grand total of 9 something...
