Crower Billet Econo Rods
Crower has introduced a new budget connecting rod for the popular Honda/Acura applications. Intended for all-motor and low boost applications, the Econo Billet is a lightweight (470 grams for B18C) alternative to shot-peened factory rods. Available in H-beam design only, this rod is made in China (like the Eagle) from 4340 steel billet material BUT finished in-house at Crower under Crower's rigorous quality control standards. Prices start at $398 for the set of four rods. For severe-duty applications, the smart choice is the original Crower rod.. built to handle unlimited power adders and extended rpm.

I have a set of these in my setup...and I am completely satisfied with them. The other choice I had (Eagle) was acceptable but ...wut the heck for $45 more for a better brand name like Crower...you can't beat that!!!!

what does this mean as far as torque capability? how much power can stock shot-peened rods handle?
also are they really serious about the regular rods hanlding unlimited power, which includes 600+ whp?
