I am getting this squeaky/click noise whenever i go over bumps or whenever i am going in and out of a driveway...basically whenever the chassis flexes. I have already taken a part the entire shock/spring assembly and nothing seems to be loose. The shock is not blown since there is no visible oil leaks and the dampening still works. I am thinking it's movement between the upper pillow mounts and the chassis but i have tighten everything....anyone has experienced this problem before?
BTW - this is the driver side front only. The rest is fine.

I don't really think there is a fix if your pillow mount is the culpret of the noise. Its just part of having pillow mounts. This is one of the reasons that people usually opt not to get the pillow mounts, because of their 'cluclunk cluclunk' on city streets. You could always pop them off, throw your stockers back on and see if that takes care of it for you, then you can decide whether or not you want to put the pillow's back on.

I have taken apart the entire shock/spring/pillow mount assembly. Nothing seems to be out of the ordinary.

Now you've doubled your work lol. Might as well throw the stock ones back on to see if he even likes having the pillows. If you don't notice any difference between stock and the pillow mounts then you might as well leave the stock ones in there. Problem solved.
I still think that its just the normal sound from pillow mounts.

For my case, this was the problem:
The upper spring seat has to lock in place in one specific position or else, no matter how much you tighten the top nut, it will rattle eventually. Notice the indentation and specific fit between the damper shaft and the upper spring perch:

Humm....i don't think the buddy clubs have the specific location like you mentioned. I will take a look again....thanks.
