WOW!! that's asking for a lot! are you just looking to make the same power or are you looking to officially turn it into a c5?

give him a break guys, he's 17. probly not too knowledgable just yet.

in short, a complete conversion cannot be done because every single part is different. it would be a slight different case with a b18c1, but not with an LS.

age doesn't matter.... i'm only 21.... not much difference there. I'm not gonna be mad at him or anything, i'm not gonna hold it against him... he just needs to learn how to do his homework before hand. Everyone does make their mistakes, hell, i've made mine to.... but i'm not gonna give him a break cause he's 17. IMO any 17 year old that can be thinking about a b18c5 is ******* lucky as hell..... ****, when I was 17 I had crashed my first car (fallen asleep) which was an 84 accord, and at that point was driving my parents 85 plymouth voyager minivan (bad alternator, bad fuel pump, wood paneling ). If he's lucky enough to first of all have an integra, and second of all be thinking about an itr swap.... he owes himself and all of us other honda guys a enough to at least do some background research on stuff......

Here's how I'd do it:

1. Sell the B18A1
2. Buy a B18C5

It'd save you a hell of a lot of time and money just to do it that way.

Yes with a ls-vtec you have the potential of making more power than a c5.The c5 puts down around 165 hp stock.A b18a1 with better pistons and a b16 head could put down similar numbers,if tuned right.

U can use the b18c5 crank and pistons in a b18a1 and put the b18c5 head on the b18a1
