Default Would anyone be interested in H22 EF mounts????

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in H22 EF mounts?

If I can get people interested in them then I will make them. They will be made from one piece billet alum. Let me know.

Bolt in or weld in?

I'm interested.

HASport is already in the works of making them and is pretty far along. They should be out pretty soon.

We've been hearing that for about a year.

I called Hasport about getting them since I'd rather put an H in instead of a B and the guy I got on the phone acted like I was insane. I told him I'd heard that they were working on them and he said no they weren't, that it was too big to fit.

I took that to mean they weren't making them. Someone else I called, (HPC?) said they made them but they were weld in and he was out of stock for 6-8 weeks. The price on his mounts and axles was pretty high as I recall, $1000+.

With the B kit using mostly junkyard parts, I figured it would be the cheapest way to go. As soon as the Honda dealer gets my LSD bearings in I'll be ready for my GSR swap.

1. what combo of axles you need to run?

2. are you going to sell a complete kit? including the spacer for the flywheel?

3. how did it feel with the B series tranny on there?

Well I used, 90-93 Integra axles with a 90-93 Accord Mid shaft, I will sell a complete kit if I can get enough people interested. It feels nice with the B series tranny.

I'm sure it was just as easy to delete some posts rather than lock that thread. That was an important thread that had allot of interest. to keithv.

If you make a kit that uses the h22a tranny then your going to have to provide custom axles because the diff on the h22a tranny is a good amount wider. I tried really hard to use stock teg axles, I couldn't get the axles anywhere near concentric with the hubs without binding.

I think a better idea would be to stick with an H22A mount kit that comes with 'b' adapter plate, it would be a marketable kit if the price was right. w/h22a tranny it's a whole new big can of worms for the average enthusiast.. average enthusiast doesn't want to deal with: cutsom axles, installing cable shiftter, and cutting up the unibody for the tranny to fit.

Just my 2 cents..

I know, I jus wish I never gave anyone any 'ideas' bout what 2 do....

Oh well yeah I agree I wanna see a marketable adapter kit for for the h series plus i've got wagon guys @ my site lookin for adapters for b series blocks to d series trannys so they can keep awd
I am all for this.

Gotta nother question too, do h series motors match up to f series trannys & vise versa. I was told by Bisi that the f series adapter plates are still a ways off & if the
H and F motors are the same bell housing pattern then these h series plates are Godsend
I really wanna do a fseries turbo BAD
