I had to get my honda smogged today cause the DMV sent me a letter that I had it.. its next week. So yeah, class was cancelled today (my 9 o clock) class so I went around finding a place to get my car smogged that was close. I went to this one place called 15 min. Smog or something, so I was like cool. I went in and and ask how much is it going to cost to smog my car. This is the first time I've smogged any car btw, they said it was 49.95 and 8.20 for a cert. I was thinking thats fine, I just need it done. anyways I went to the bank and got another 20 out cuz I didn't have enough, come back, watched them smogged it.. and at the end he goes you didn't pass. pissed me off.. he said my ignition timing was off or some sh*t.. can anyone help on this?

 

Got a light gun? Your distrubutor might have problems. Did he say that was the only reason why you failed? The shitty thing is now you have to go to a retest center to get the car smogged instead of just a quick test center.He should have tested everything anyway and then told you everything that made the car fail.
Timing is big though.

i dont have a gun light, yes he did say that was the only problem, he checked the rest, all he said to me is get to done at your mechinic and retake it here, he didn't say anything about going somewhere else...
