Default H22 Swap QUestion

I have 97 Accord LX 5spd. and plan on dropping H22A in this week but having few issues i need answers to before starting.
The H22A came from 99 SH prelude . I plan on using my accord tranny and axles.
The only thing i swapping is the motor. I noticed the atts(??) box on the H22A and lookes like this is like a half shaft for axle. Question. Will my honda axles bolt directly onto block?? Also wat ECU is best for this kinda swap?? Any Ideas??
Anyone run into this before??

you need the prelude ECU, use the accord half shafts and drive shafts. I know for a fact that the F22/F23 tranny will fit onto the H22, so the halfshaft should have no issues bolting onto the block. though i did my swap with a 2001 accord, so your motor could be a bit different, but the chances of this are very slim

from the looks of the halfshaft, it looks like it will not bolt on to the block.. anyone run into this problem?? is the block for the base model prelude and SH model the same??

oh ya, sorry, the one out of the 99 sh is the H22a4. It used a different halfshaft design than the 5th gen accords do.

Your Accord tranny should bolt on the H22 block.

All H22 block should be the same, the differences are in the tranny!

I think the immobilizer will be a problem. Maybe the Honda dealer might be able to reprogram.

I beleive the tranny to stay away from is the one with that ATTS bullshit. that intermediate shaft will not work with the accord.

thanks for the info. I will attempt today to pull axle from accord and c if it will bolt on to h22 block. This motor is from the type sh prelude wit the atts bs and the halfshalft design does look little different. I will give it a shot anyhow.....

in order for you to be able to bolt the accord halfshaft up to the SH block is you needed to fab a bracket to bring the bolt holes over to the other side of the halfshaft. Meaning that the bolt holes on the halftshaft are on the right (looking at it from under the car) and the bolt holes on the SH block are on the left (this due to the ATTS system and its own halfshaft) It will work its just a pain in the ***
