18'' rim clerance on civic
when you lower your suspension with a coilover or whtever when you see cars wityh virtually no space between the fender and tire are these usually rubbing? i would imagine no matter how stiff a spring rate extreme cornering or tight radiuos turns would caouse tire shred am i crazy, i plan to use 16 or 17 i was just curious
depends on what year if its 95 down dont try it 17in is plenty ive done 2 92 and a 95 on 18's they rubbed even on stock suspension but hey so i dont get bashed by some know it all thats just my opionion hope it helps..
I see a couple of civics on 18's. I had my civic slammed with 17's then I wanted to see my friends c5's(18's) on my car. It was rubbing when I hit bumps but not that bad when I turned. I never did a complete u turn though
thank you all for the feedback, just one last question 17w/a coilover is this a reliable combo? i want to have the wheel well filled but what kind of ride quality does this offer, i have been in a integra droped well below 2 in and it was the worst ride imaginable my teeth are still ratteling, given this weas a homemade cuting factory springs operation i still want much differnt results.
17 w/coilover, is a comfortable ride in my civic. I did not have no complain about the ride. It was skunk2 coilover, ingall camber kit all around and stock struts.

new fenders...like what? You can get your stock ones rolled out ,but doesnt make that much of a difference. Dont plan on slamming it with 18's like you can with 17's
