Default Exhaust/header question

Ive been searching the archives for a few days now, and, being new to this stuff, I have a couple questions.

1) If I go with a magnaflow cat-back exhaust am I correct in thinking that I can use my cat that came on the car?

2) If im just looking for a header thats better than stock, would a DC sports work, and would it work with my original cat. I'm not looking to blow huge amounts of cash on a header, im mostly looking for something that would help out a bit with everyday driving as opposed to high-rpm racing and not cost a ton. (any brand suggestions?)

I'd really appreciate any help... I just couldnt seem to get an exact answer through reading archived posts.
Thanks

you can definately use your stock cat with a DC header (good choice by the way). You should also be able to use the stock cat with the magnaflow, havent had any experience with them but i havent heard of any basic cat-back systems that wouldnt allow you to use a stock cat.

Excellent, thank you . Im going to go ahead and go with that combo then. Magnaflow says that it will in fact fit.

Which would be better the DC 4-2-1 header, or the 4 - 1?

i heard DC ceramic headers are bad and i heard that u should go with stainless steel

also im thinking that those things should fit with the stock cat as long as u get the ones that were designated for ur specific car

ull hear this a lot on h-t when asking about exhausts and turbos, but go custom. It's cheaper for a deal thats the same if not better in performance, if u pick ur parts right. custom turbos are hard but for exhaust systems, go to http://www.kteller.com get the magnaflow muffler if u want, the piping fit for ur honda, and a resonator or 2 if u want. itll cost a lot less than most name brand cat back exhaust systesms, but whatever u do, good luck

i dont think that theyre bad but theyve been known to crack, every now and then. I would get a 4-2-1 Stainless DC header
