Love to see as many R's there as possible for the last Auto-X of the season.

Last time there were only 3 I think, 1 was a friend of mine's and I was the other.

So come out even if you just want to watch and check it out. Come see why we can really appreciate our cars from stock all the way to highly modified!

I'm tryin to round up the R-speed guys and hopefully we get about 10 R's there.

If not to race, then for brotherly support...

Give me some detailed directions on how to get there from NYC. What time does it start and how much to race?

 

More Rs would show up if their events werent as disorganized...its a waste of a day, and very aggrivating...i keep going there to give them another chance, but its always the same...

 

Explain your hostility. I was going to go on Sunday to run my IS300. Any reasons why I shouldn't.

 

no hostility...just the way it goes...i'm not discuraging anyone from going, if thats the only thing going on that weekend, than by all means go for it. But there are better ran clubs to come into mind when talking about autcrossing. Show up at one of NASA's autocrosses, NNJR, Camden events, etc. I was just stating the fact why not that many ITR owners show up at Westchester's events.

 

hey ell pollo, last time they rearanged the course layout. worked very well. we got 6 runs in by 2:30 and 45 min of fun runs.

Sorry you have a bad taste about their events but, the last one was my first and I thought it was run pretty well. Like Rodney said I ran 6 timed runs and 1 fun run with time for 2 friends to borrow my car and run it themselves.

Dave and Rodney tell me about you, I'd love to see you run a course even if it was for fun and no points.

I'd just like to see as many ITR's there as possible for the end of season race. Last time, no Joke there were only 3 R's. This may be due to a bad rep about organization but, Again I thought it went pretty well. Of course I'd love to make it to other races next season, and will make a special effort for a track run, But, don't just count it out because you had some bad experiences. I can appreciate that you'd get frustrated, So would I! But I had so much fun my first time and No bad experiences so I thought about getting a bunch of us together.

If you know how to get to Tapanzee bridge. Palisade Mall center is just several exits away...it's the parking lot across Home Depot.

 

Yeah, I know now how to get there, I been there before.

 

Pre-register here and be there BEFORE 9am so you have enough time for prepare. Just look for the teg crowds, I think there should be at least a few H-T guys.

Clean out your car for trash and leave unneccesary stuff home.

Thats at least 5 so far hopefully some more of the R-Speed guys will show.

Lets all plan to arrive between 8:15 and 8:45 a 30 minute window. That'll give us time to secure some good spots Together and get ready for tech inspection.

My goal is to get 1 heat done with some good times and break-in before 2 when Dave plans on showin. then I wnat to do better times than I did last time I've done some lame slow runs but my best was a 37.5 and I want to be at or around it all day and even break it a few times! Hopefully...

Can't wait, Now I gotta install my new OMP pedals!

Awesome guys, between this and getting the R-Speed guys together, I'll have a great full day and lots to enjoy It'll focus my attention on comptetition for next season.

Wow......get there at 8:45 means waking my *** up at 7:00am on a Sunday?
That's as difficult as going to bed at 10pm like back in elementary school.
So far we got quite some teggys at SM....hope that we don't get our *** kick by civics to end up at the lower end.

Anyhow, I'll round some NYR guys if I can....

Is it possible to just run the auto x in the mornin? I have stuff to do at around 1:00 but want to run my car at an event before the winter.

 

You can always leave at any time. Just that your $25 is gone.
We have another one in Giant Stadium on the coming 24th.

 

not too worried about the $25 bucks b/c even one or two runs will be worth it. As for the 24th, thats a Sat. I might be able to make that one also. I want to see what this IS can do.

Always welcome.....I can't think of any reasons they won't let you run except if you are the bully that the event chairman feared back in high school.
