Should we start placing bets if we're getting the new V710s in time for BeaveRun?
If you're going to run Kumhos, slap on 225/50-15 Victoracer (NOT Ecsta) V700's Trusty tire that won't let you down. I didn't say they'd put you in 1st place, but they're solid tires.

Well, after your A-arms slip and destroy your hoosiers, and everyone else's V710's have de-laminated and blown up you might have a damn good chance!

I talked with someone at Kumho this past week in their tech department. They are hoping to have them by the end of the month in their warehouse but they couldn't guarantee that Tirerack would have them.
I'll be surprised if they are here this month.
I don't want to sound negaitve about Kumho since I won two races at CMP on them, but the V710 and the V700 Victoracers are two completely different tires.
I ran a set of Victoracers at VIR this past weekend at the SARRC/MARRS races on Alex Ratcliffe's GSR and then switched to Hoosiers for the second race on Sunday.
The Hoosiers are nearly 2 second per lap faster. Where I was having to lift off the thottle in turns 1 and 2 at VIR I just nailed it with the Hoosiers. Same at Oak Tree where I could get on the throttle much sooner with Hoosiers.
I would like to stay on Kumho to get the contingency money but there is no way I am going to be able to keep up with the CRX's (Ginsberg and Marhfeka) on Victoracers. I'll be lucky if I am within 2-3 seconds of those guys with Victoracers.
If they can guarantee me that the V710's will be ready by Road Atlanta I might do Beaver Run on Victoracers and consider it a throw away race but if the can't have the V710's ready by RA then I am switching to Hoosiers.
