what fuel pump to run boosted
ive got a 92 dx hatch with a jdm d15b vtec. im doing the homeade turbo thing very soon, but was curious as to which kind of fuel pump to run. a shop around here told to use an inline 255lph pump, and ive read alot of stuff on just using a gsr in-tank pump, or even a 190-255lph in-tank pump. so whats going to work well, ive heard walbro tank pumps are noisy. any info is appreciated
I've got a Walbro 190lph intank. Yes it is noisy. It gurgles when you're low on gas as well.
The GSR is a 135lph unit, and if you don't need more than that much fuel delivery I would suggest going with that one. The Walbro units are just around 100 dollars though.

ive been told that a gsr pump is good enough to support 6-8lbs of boost, so i think thats prolly gonna be good, but i want to be sure.
HCI has a great article, its the top 100 tech tips. a lot applies to honda. one was using a VR-4 fuel pump. i guess that would be sufficient for your setup. i dunno how much you could find one for though.
Check around first. Chances are if you can find a GSR pump for uber cheap, you can probably find a Walboro one as well.
I've seen Walboro pumps go for 190 - $79, 255 - $89 and 255HP - $99. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me for a BRAND NEW pump.
