Default My hybrid slip on (custom)

Here it is..my f4i with custom slip on. Its a micron carbon fiber muffler for a 929rr with a two brothers high mount midpipe. I had to weld a slightly larger midpipe section onto the two bros midpipe. Right where it connects to the exhaust. You can see in the pics. Only reason i did this hybrid crap was cause i got a deal on both items. midpipe=$60 and muffler w/ 929rr midpipe=$75. Pretty much got my high mount for only $135...only took about 15min to modify the midpipe too. The red carbon fiber looks like crap so i was thinking about painting it black...

check it out...my custom undertail

here is where i welded...not the greatest but it works

I scratched the damn midpipe yesterday..ah well.

btw, i still havent installed the springs yet for it. And i'm also gonna make some spacers so that i can put my footpeg back on.

hey volpeownsu, u should do this if you havent gotten the normal mount midpipe yet. Get 1.5" spacers and longer bolts...now you can retain your rear foot peg My spacers need to be just a little bit longer...its like 3/4" and barely touching. Once i get some longer bolts (bought wrong length) i will be able to put 1.5" spacers in.

btw, i dont plan on doing 12s just yet so no need for a shorter muffler... I wont be doing them for a while.

EDIT: 1.5" spacers and 2 1/2" bolts.

you can get the spacers at home depot and the bolts from there too. Go into the plumbing section and look for the 1/2" pipe and ask them to cut 2 pieces for you. Each 1.5" long. I also got the bolts from home depot...2.5" long.
