Original Door Mouldings Color
Ok, my old thread was moved to where it's useless, so I'll ask my question again:
Would you classify the original stock 88-91 Civic door moulding/trim as glossy, "satin", or flat black?
The reason I ask is I'm wondering how close I can get to the stock "color" of black by means of a rattlecan.

I always thought it was somewhere between flat and satin. I used the Duplicolor trim paint on my CRX's front lip, and it came out great. I would definitely use it on the rest of the trim if I had the time/energy/patience!!

You can buy the trim paint from a company called SEM. I grabbed a can from the body shop that painted the bumper mouldings to match the new OEM side mouldings. It was a pretty damn good match. Again, the company name is SEM and it said something like trim paint on the can. I can get the part number or whatever when i go home so let me know if u need it.
