Rate your injector noise on a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being stock and 10 being sounds like valves out of adjustment. Please include what injectors your running

My 85lb Rochesters are about a 6

 

my dsm's are like a 7

 

MSD 998cc's - mine are a 1. just like stock

hmm thats weird cause msd's rochesters and holley's are the same injector

 

My delfi 756cc's are about a 8 ....noisy as hell. But oh well doesn't bother me

i would give my DSM 450's about a 7.5. but hey, can't beat the cost

 

i havent really paid attn. but now that you mention it my dsm's are kinda loud

 

i havent noticed my rochesters, so i guess they are a 1

 

I got those DSM 450 and boy they are loud as hell, Sounds like my motor is coming apart in there. I rate them a 8

 

20 500cc Cosworth injectors, not sure what make. Trouble is now I don;t know when my valves needs adjusting

 

Is this common even with good injectors? I installed 550cc sat. RC's and as soon as we started the car with the turbo setup, I've been thinking I need to redo my valve lash ever since, but it was nice and quiet before hand.

 

my DSMs (at least 2 of them) are a 10! i just lashed my valves perfectly, but now it sounds like my valves are completely off (i know its the injectors), loud injectors rock!

 

Well, I bought a set of black top dsm injectors and was pleased with the $50 dollar price tag. Man, when I put them in they were so noisy! I had to buy a set of different injectors. So I shell out for my Rochester #85 and they are still noisy! Not as bad. The dsm's were like a 15 / 10. The funny thing is I had a set of blue tops before that sounded just like stock. My friend egmike has a set of blue tops and they are probably about a 5. WTF!
