Default Where to start?

I recently purchased a 91 LS with only 89,000 miles on it. I don't know where to start with the upgrades. I want to go with the motor first and then the cosmetics. I was thinking about doing a VTEC conversion, but have found that a lot of people are saying that it is unreliable. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

First let me start by saying welcome to the acura scene, its always good to have another teggy owner around.

Most people start with the intake, header, exhaust combo. Thats as basic as it gets. I would also suggest searching on http://www.team-integra.net that site has a lot of good info on integras.

thats an incredibly broad question, but if your keeping the motor, a good start would be a good tune-up - cap-rotor-upgraded plugs, wires - possibly a timing belt and water pump(your about due w/ 89k), fuel filter and then intake,header,exhaust... i could go on but thats a good start

since frenchy covered the engine part.. after u finish, u should prob change from stock suspension.. lower if u want too.. then base ur wheels off the height of the car.. ( oem tho )

a suggestion is to learn how your car handles and figure out for yourself where the upgrades should go.

a smart fellow doesn't go asking others how to spend his money...

Great mileage for that year...how much did ya pay? Post up some pics when ya can...other than that, for anything you need we have a search button located on the top right of the screen...most likely, almost all of your problems have already been covered, so check that out before ya post

None the less, Welcome to the Honda-Tech community!
