Default goodbye civic, hello M3!!

I'm sure this belongs elsewhere, but considering this is the only section of ht.com that I post on, I figured it would be ok - that and no one mods this area anyway .

After 4 great years with the civic (including prepping it for SQ competition) I've decided it's time to move on. As if I have not procrastinated enough with installing my setup, I've changed things again. It's about time, I had two false starts with selling it, now I guess the third time is a charm.

So here she is: - edit, here are some shitty quality pics on my sounddomain site for my bro's 330....

http://www.sounddomain.com/memberpage/164027/9

2001 BMW M3 Coupe, Imola Red with Black Nappa Leather, 6 speed, 29k miles. The wheels are BBS LMs (19x10's in the rear ) and it's on Bilstein Coilovers.

So this is going to be my new SQ machine! I'm super pumped about it. I've been working two jobs while going to school and saving a lot of cash for this kind of a purchase.

Although I'm sure some of you want me to leave , I'll be hanging around the Honda boards - I like it here.

Sadly, the Civic has to find a new home.

Congrats on the new ride! Nice choice! You should post some pics (or at least a link with some pics).

LOL, Congrats on the new purchase nice car!

I collected a lot of audio equipment for my integra and never actually finished it.
I did actually get most of it my car.

Now I am in a new project with the NSX.

Someone else bought all my old equipment for their integra.

My tastes have changed since I started.

Congrats on the new car....
Stay here...who else will back me up?
Great choice though...my next sq vehicle
will be a minivan with stow-a-way seating

Ahh...the joy of parenting.

i hope u enjoy it, at the end of the year, im also selling my lovely type r and will be purchasing either a 01 silvia S15(real one), S2000, or an NSX. its going to be hard, the type r has served me a wonderful 3.5 years. 4 years by the time i sell it.

the S15 is a bitch to register, the S2000 wont make a great SQ car, and the NSX has been my deam car since i dunno how long. with that in mind, its hard to make a final decision on one. only time will tell.

I'm 25, I work two jobs and I go to MBA school at night, so I work hard, play hard. My primary job is as a Business Development Manager (aka Sales) for a software company (www.itedo.com). My secondary job is as a contract employee of an environmental engineering consulting company.

Let's just say I save my pennies, and I live with my brother. Keep in mind that while our salaries and compensation can be strong then in other parts of the country, the real-estate and cost of living is astronomical.

I have a few options. No matter what, I'll keep the H700. I may get rid of the DVA-7996 to interact with the factory head, but that's doubtful.

There's two ways to go, one is with horns. That will be either a two way or three way front stage. The other setup I may take is with some DLS Ultimate Iridium 6.3 components - all active. The subs will be IDQ12's and the amps will be the same PPI Art series.

The install will be more stealth based then anything else. The M3 doesn't even come with a spare, only a pump and some fix a flat.

i'm sort of in the same situation. the cost of living in toronto is damn expensive and so is real estate. luckily i have a good job and still live wiht my parents. i want a house but anyhting close to toronto is minimum $250,000 for like a 1000sq foot house that needs to be gutted and rebuilt. not to mention an 8ft x 10ft back yard

Sounds like LA.

I make descent money, but I have no bling to show for it. Maybe I should stop all the partying

PS, I don't think any 50k car has an age limit attached to it.

My brother's 2 bedroom, 1 bath house was a total fixer-upper - not one room was left as is, and it was 480k in the bay area - and we got a "deal" on it. We refinished the floors, new electrical, landscaping, paint in and out, new bathroom, a whole lot of little things, and voila, it appraised for over 800k

I'm telling you the market is nuts!!

When was it appraised? I doubt that you can get that much now.

The house was bought AFTER the bubble broke and was appraised less then a month ago - yes it's possible.

Houses that need LOTS of work to be livable go for 1.2M and up around here - I'm telling you, it's insane. Police officers commute over 2 hours each way just so they can afford to buy a house and raise a family.

The house is in a subburb of SF, about 20 miles south, on the penninsula

Those only fit in the E36 M3. The swap is like 10gs for the 2jz. Not bad considering a trubo kit is 10gs.

I would get the E36 M and trubo/SC or swap it (2jz).. The E46 M isnt FI friendly....
But the E46 M is soo gorgeous

Sport it if you got it M3 love them
I have much M3 love.

I hate you.

Sorry, I didn't mean that, I'm just that jealous.

What's the plan thus far, as far as the SQ set up goes?
