snow forecast?
does anyone know the snow forecast this year? i'm in southern ct, but i'm sure we'd all like to know how much snow our respective areas of the country will see. i'm contemplating purchasing the michelin pilot alpin or the arctic alpin; the arctic being the better choice for heavy snowfall. oh yeah, **** californians!
Check yer Farmer's Almanac.
It says the west coast is supposed to get a lot of snow......

BPR - who is salivating at the notion of going to Whistler/Blackcomb this year

Hah Hah Hah,
I wish I never experienced it sometimes.
But, one funnier is seeing any Southern State when a snow storm actually hits! The WHOLE world stops for some measly white stuff!
Now picture a whole mess of drivers who've never or rarely driven on the stuff! Hah Hah Hah it's funny just thinking about all the spinouts and swerves. It's even funnier seeing them in person.
Accidents where people are injured on the other hand are Not funny!
But, seeing Southerners driving in Snow is some Hilarious SH*T!

their country-wide prediction: What Can We Expect This Winter?
According to our time-tested formula, winter will begin early, with significant snows possible for the northern states during late November 2001. We also expect another very active winter weather pattern, especially in the Northeast. For there, we predict a few heavy snowstorms and even a near-blizzard (in the second week of February). Above-average precipitation will fall in the East and the Pacific Northwest, but the area from the Plains to the Great Lakes will be drier than normal.
does anybody believe this stuff? is this like getting your palms read?

I don't think so - it's based on statistical averages. We all know the world is warming up - so some areas are going to get drier while others will experience more severe weather patterns.
