Default need help taking off hose from PCV valve

Its stuck on there pretty tight. Is there some trick to taking it off? should i lube it with something like WD-40 before I attempt to take it off?

you can use silicone spray or WD40 if it's stuck good. any hoses generally I get my trusty 45 degree toothless pliers and give it a light squeeze, spray some soap/water mixture in it, and give it a little twist. pops right off!!

grip it good, twist and pull at the same time. it'll break loose.
