Default New dyno shop on highway 54

Anyone ever been to the dyno shop on 54. I called them a few months ago and they said for $60 you can get 3 pulls. I just read all those threads on a dyno for 12/1. Just wondering if everyone still wants to pay engineered all that money and complain about their service. I personally never received any problems with them, even thought I havent had my car there no more than 2 or 3 times. Does anyone actually care for the #

Its all good no offense taken. Ive had my itr since 4/98. Ive done numerous modifications to it. Like alot of people not too bright and inexperienced in the game. I bought this muffler in tx from jotech back in those days during that summer. I used to have a cold air intake, i used to have an upgraded ignition, i used to have a lightenend flywheel, i used to have a fpr, i used to have a ported head, and also a random tech hi flo cat. I used have a broward clutch. sorry so long. Since then Ive realized the less Ive put in the more i get out. I over reved my old motor over a period of time because of missing shifts bent some valves 1nce or twice.i said twice because of the weapon R cam gears i once had ate up my tbelt for dinner 1 night. . the fpr pretty much washed my cylinder walls from allowing to much fuel to be consumed, plus my upgraded ecu wasnt helping all of this either reving up to 9100rpms. After having 2 different people try and rebuild my bottom, i said fu.. it. and just started fresh with a new motor from the dealer. It may have costed me depression but its the only way to make things right. The last shop who I still deal with bought my old motor back because my engine still was not up to par, with the bigger pistons installed. So that money I got back from the shop who last built it, I used to purchase a new block and head. Well now my car runs like it did when i bought it new. Doesnt burn any oil, and is quiet. Its not loud like i was with the ported head and high flo cat but oh well sooner or later I am going to part with this car, just because Im just tired of getting blown by civics with swaps and no interiors. Even though if they were to get in an accident i would feel really bad. anyway.... thats my story and im stickin to it peace.....

oh sorry about the mugen. I first bought a comptech header, and after i dynoed i only gained 3 or 4 hp to the ground throughout the power band, before i even bought any type of exhaust. So i heard the mugen made 20hp. I sent the comptech back, (very nice people): for $500 they better be nice right? Got my money back then spent $915 on this other bullshy.. that lost horse power below 6500 rpm. i gained maybe 6-8 hp to the ground at 6500-8000 rpm, after i added the muffler and hi flo cat. So If i knew any better I would have stayed with my comptech and still would have made more power with the future mods i made. so that just goes to show how smart I was.

Dont take this the wrong way but your car has alot of potential it just seems you are getting info from people that dont know what they are doing with your car. Mugen wont make 20hp, but then again there are better choices out there like Spoon. Talk to some of the people here with highly modded engines and some who have minor mods you will notice through info on this board most of the members dont run into these problems, Welcome BTW. Lots of Info here

BTW Was the Mugen JDM or USDM Collector?

Thanks for the advise. The mugen was for usdm i assume or maybe not. All i know is I have a leak from it not fitting properly. Im going to be selling my itr next year around this time most likely. You are correct. There are too many people who dont know what they are doing. All i know is what ive been through. I just dont see any purpose of spending all this money right now on minimal gains. Im not rich so I guess I need to step out this game for a while....
