Help identifying tranny: S4
The engine I got recently, came with a tranny stamped "S4".
I already searched around, and so far just only found mentionings of "S4C" - 99-00 SI.
Can anybody explain where the misterious S4 comes from?

well i have no idea cause it doesnt match any codes i know of. so imma go with this. it is a CRV tranny for a fwd crv that was manual. i simply said this cause i dunno what it is so dont take it for serious. although it does make u wonder..............

This is what i think. I have a b16 tranny on my car and it has the S4 stamp on it. But im also not positive if it is only b16 trannies

yes, its the serial # right above the lower tranny mount
