now that I have alot of time and money into the perfomance side of my civic I need to tackle the rust problem that us midwest drivers all have to deal with.

anyone have tips on how best to fix the problem, parts to buy, where to buy, etc.

my body shop guy quoted me about 1200 or so do it, just wondering if I can source any parts that could reduce this cost

 

that's about how much it costs. I got a guy that lives 2 doors down of my new apt that just did that and painted a new front end for me for 300$ I got lucky

 

I was quoted just over $700 in parts and labor to replace and paint the rusted out rear quarters.
