what are the #'s for the ex,si tranny out of an eg

im getting used tranny from a junk yard, and i was just wondering how to tell them apart so i know im getting the right one, need either the ex, or si out of the 92-95 civic or del sol, thanks

look right by the filler plug on the back of the tranny. There will be a circle stamped with a set of numbers on it.

P20
B000 is the EX/Si

P20
A000 is the CX/DX/VX

this guy is right on the money. i checked the same spot for my tranny from the junkyard.

I found the P20 stamp behind the filler plug but mine doesn't have the A000 or B000. The number 2 just follows the P20.

BTW, its labeled towards the front with... S20-1292834
Also has a stamp reading...Y4C...heres a pic...
